Two Months into Wedding Stationery

Starting my wedding stationery business has been one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences! Over the past two months, I’ve learned so much, not just about design, but about building something meaningful from the ground up.

When I first began, I knew I loved creating, but I quickly realized that running a business involves so much more than just designing. From reaching out to bridal shops and vendors, to building my website and sharing my work online, I’ve been learning how to confidently put myself out there and grow my brand.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned is the importance of connection. Whether it’s meeting with vendors, talking to potential clients, or simply sharing my process on social media, those interactions have been the most impactful part of growing my business. People want to feel connected to who they’re working with, and I’ve seen how meaningful those relationships can be.

I’ve also learned that consistency matters more than perfection. Showing up, continuing to design, creating mockups, and sharing my work even when I don’t feel fully ready has helped me build momentum and confidence in what I offer.

What’s been working well for me is focusing on creating cohesive, thoughtful designs that reflect a couple’s wedding aesthetic. I’ve spent a lot of time refining my collections, taking photos, and presenting my work in a way that feels aligned with my vision. I’ve also stepped outside of my comfort zone by reaching out to vendors and leaving my business cards, which has already led to meaningful opportunities and connections.

As I continue to grow, I’m focusing on improving both my design process and the experience I create for my clients. I want every couple to feel confident, excited, and supported throughout the entire process from the first inquiry to the final details.

Getting my first clients has been incredibly encouraging, and it’s reminded me why I started this in the first place. There’s something so special about being part of such an important moment in someone’s life, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to create something meaningful for each couple.

I’m still at the beginning of this journey, but I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and building something that truly reflects my passion for design and connection.

If you’re newly engaged and starting to think about your wedding stationery, I would love to work with you and bring your vision to life.
